A Feisty Affair!

Crediton Youth U16 travelled to Okehampton to take on their arch rivals last Saturday. Another feisty affair again between the two sides played out in tough weather conditions. Despite going behind twice the Crediton lads eventually ran out 3-2 winners. On target for them were Sam Eaton, Casey Grossett and Charlie Lancelles direct from a corner. No doubt the victory was celebrated as much by the coaches as by the players themselves!

The U15 were finally back in action after a long break. But they had to settle for a point away at Sidmouth. Ryan Sandland on target for them in a 1-1 draw.

Not a good day for the U14’s as they hosted high flying Culm Valley. A Jack Brimilcombe goal the only highlight of their day.

Hayden Richardson Miller grabbed both goals as the U11’s shared the points away at Cranbrook.

It was four wins for the U9’s also away at Okehampton. Williams Manns leading the goal scoring with three, with Harry Broome, Jenson Lanabeer, Luke Beetlestone and Olly Dallyn also on target for them.

Another good day for U8’s away at Teignmouth. Amongst the goals for them in their victory were Dexter Hughes, Finn Cereda, Joey Carpenter and Oscar Wilk.

The U13 girls went down 2-0 at home to Torquay United Community Sports Yellows on Sunday. Despite only losing twice all season they have to settle for third place in the league behind the top two unbeaten sides. The league now splits into two mini leagues for the remainder of the season.

It was a return to winning ways for the U11 girls away at Cullompton. Two Gracie Clements goals and a long range effort from Lexi Mullen saw them runout 3-1 winners. Eva S was voted player of the match.

Back in action again were the U9 girls away at Cullompton. It was a draw and two defeats for them.
