New Kit for the Under 8's

Crediton Youth FC Under 8’s recently received a brand new kit kindly sponsored by Oliver’s bakery of Crediton.

Over the past season the club has started to move over to a new more modern design of kit. Scott Brimilcombe from the club has been working closely with Raging Bull the clubs kit supplier to make the transition over to the new design of kit. The new style sees the club move away from its traditional light blue shirts and dark blue socks and shorts to a darker blue kit more inline with Crediton United’s first teams new colours.

Already the majority of the clubs sides have moved across to the new range of kit, with another two age groups soon to receive their’s. This is down to the very generous support that the club has received from local businesses in the area. The club really appreciates the very kind gesture made by sponsors, who allowed the kit change over project run ahead of schedule, especially during these challenging Covid times.

The club have been working with Raging Bull and it’s parent company Halbro for over a decade now, providing the club kits.

Simon Stevens initially came across the Raging Bull range at a football trade exhibition at Ashton Gate Bristol. The club were very impressed with the fact that all sponsors logo’s and numbers are actually woven into the kits as opposed to being printed on, and that replacement shirts for any kit can still be reproduced years after their original manufacture. Many of the very first kits are still in occasional use even now, showing longevity of the kits.

At present the club is planning its annual six a side tournament to be held on the weekend of Saturday & Sunday 11th and 12th June at Lords Meadow which will hopefully attract over 180 sides from across the South West.

The club is always keen to involve local businesses. Anyone interested in sponsoring a kit or in tournament sponsorship or programme advertising, should contact Scott Brimilcombe -
